I don’t know what to do with my retirement. My husband works from home and I am home with him with nothing to do. I tried volunteering at a church but that didn’t work out for me. I am only 73 years old. But I don’t know what interest me. I don’t like being out at night. My children don’t live near me and they have their own lives is there anyway I can get help
Hi America,
Your local library or community senior center (if you have one) probably offer programs that could be of interest.
If you have a community college nearby, check out their schedule of music and theatre performances. They’re usually free or very inexpensive.
Do a search for “[your community] classes” to find out if there are any classes offered in your community, such as cooking, computer skills, art, light exercise, etc.
Have you seen my article “100 Things You Can Do After You Retire?” https://retirefabulously.com/100-things-can-retire/
